I know a few and they are really friendly nice folk, far friendlier than your average Londoner I’ve met; not what ai had expected at all from all he years of seeing them at games

Apart from the bellends on the train from Leeds to Burnley who smashed windows, were smoking, let off flares and were ******* on the seats?

Yeh those spitting through the netting at the home fans were really great and friendly

As a nation, why do we allow such idiocy? Nothing that a few old school coppers and a baton or two couldn’t sort out! Ridiculous!

My son and grandson were on that train , he didn’t mention that !

They were here in numbers and supported their team really well, up to and beyond the final whistle. Unfortunately it wasn't terribly pleasant on Belvedere Rd afterwards, but every team has a percentage of "knobheads", including us, so I'm not apportioning blame here.

Cringey as hell… as we left (i didn’t stay for the celebrations) a good few of them were singing Leeds Leeds Leeds as though it would antagonise us. Everyone just laughed… they are meant tonhate them more than us i thought.

They even stole our chant about being hated and not caring

They were fighting on parliament street after the game

Aggressive morons pretty much sums up the ones on the train from Manchester pre match.

Hilarious that they were signing Leeds Hope the Leeds fans get hold of the footage and have a field day with them.

Fancy cheering and dancing wildly celebrating a last minute goal for Leeds, who they proclaim to hate, whilst your own team shat themselves in their cup final.

Unfortunately there are posters on here who will think it's totally acceptable, after all it's just football fans being over exited and don't think the law of the land applies to them, and stopping it would just spoil the atmosphere.

It's good in Bermondsey, all a bit gentrified to be honest. Very pleasant and leafy.

Came across as loud mouthed bullies to me after the game whilst most Burnley fans were still in the ground

The Leeds thing at the end was a bit weird and obvs the scrapping etc is more what you expect from them but in the ground they were really good. They do that brilliant sustained noise thing that we used to do, probably got that from them as well but I don’t think I’ve heard that at the Turf since we lost the terraces.

I thought when they were all collectively shouting in the same note was weird but very loud and impressive. Not sure I would want us doing it though.

We used to do something similar to that - back in the old Longside days when we got a corner.

Hilarious at the end to see 2, 8/9 year old kids, one male one female , giving it the big un to Burnley fans in the Bob Lord. Hand gestures, raising the middle finger, offering them outside. All whilst their proud dad/guardian stood there, inevitably doing the same. Prehistoric behaviour from the cavemen of all fans. Pathetic.

After the match the police were escorting many of the Milwall fans along Parliament Street. About 8 or so police vehicles tore up the street after them. Something must have happened up there.

We used to do it, sounded great. Was a fairly uncommon thing as well, like um ba ba which was unique to us, as far as I’m aware. Most chants these days are generic and recycled with the word changes to suit x club.

The Milllllllll.... chant is pretty impressive when it gets going, particularly at the Den when its a full house. Just creates a wall of noise. We can't even get a come on you Clarets going these days.

Sure we used to sing come on you clarets very long and slow whenever we won a corner which reminded me of the Miiiil chant from yesterday. I also feel we have been singing no one likes us for the past 40/50 years, assume we nicked it from them, but it was a long time ago.

Millwall has always been a club for me that injected fear and created memories. I remember living in London in the late seventies and had just been going out with my now wife. I would disappear certain Saturdays if the clarets were playing anywhere close to London. One day she said to me that I never took her to games, and knowing we were playing Millwall in a few days time took her to the Den. The atmosphere was fierce, and during the game a decision went against them and a fan hurled his plastic cup with hot tea at the linesman. Added to that I took her to a pub near the ground before the match and I still remember being horrified to see the barmaid covered in tatoos-absolutely unheard of 50 years ago. Needless to say I was able to see future Burnley games in the capital on my own. Whenever we have played Millwall sparks off all those memories

The Longside used to do something similar in the 80’s when we got a corner. Burrrrrrrrrrrrrnley

Loads of Millwall fans live in Basingstoke, or used to in 80s. Ken Livingstone when he was leader of Greater London Council incentivised families to move out of Bermondsey to the countryside of Basingstoke. A bit like some of the Manchester councils did with Bacup around the same time. End of history lesson
