Added time.

Post by beddie » Sun May 04, 2025 8:28 am

Did anyone hear the announcer inform everyone of the amount of added time, I didn’t, I can’t even recall seeing the fourth official holding his board up, a number of us in the JHL has no idea as the game drew to a close how long was left. Is the announcer (added time) a different person from the chap that comes on the pitch at half time, you know the one yesterday that when they were taking the half time kick of the ball towards the half way line kept repeating “ this looks like a good one” when they were all 10 yds short of the target.

Scott Parker could be seen telling the players that it was four minutes.

Was deliberate to avoid a crowd pitch invasion according to Phil B.
