Any Clarets in Inskip (or close) ?
A few years ago I did say to CT that if we were to reach promotion then I'd move back to Lancashire from Sussex. (I left Nelson in 1981)
There were some hiccups along the way, a major illness being the main one, Covid, work and issues in selling our house have meant that I still have the long travel to home games.
We thought we'd managed to get something over the line in March, but again our chain collapsed. The house that we had agreed to buy in Garstang went back on the market.....but our purchaser came back and we were on the search again. We decided to spread our net a little wider and discovered Inskip.
It looks as though this time we might get it done.
It fulfilled my criteria of a 1 hour drive from BB10 and many other stuff that the wife had on her list.

Few people know that the MOD transmitter site at Inskip is one of the command and control centres for the UK’s Trident nuclear deterrent.

I live in Wrea Green, about 6 miles south of Inskip. My mate lives in Staining, nearer to Blackpool, and we've been travelling back to Burnley for matches for over 30 years. We've got STs in the Jimmy Mac lower. We often see clarets on the M55
Its a shame that the Derby Arms closed at Inskip, likewise several other country pubs in the area. Better news is the Plough at Eaves is still open, 3 miles from Inskip and they do a great Sunday lunch....

Was shocked to see it had tripled in size since the last time I was there.

Not sure about Inskip, but as Woodley says, there are quite a few of us in Poulton and the wider Fylde/Wyre area

I've seen the odd shirt in bispham by &;large it's mostly blackpool & Fleetwood as you'd expect & pockets of Preston.
