Sat on 11 points equalling the Derby lowest points total. I thought 3 games to creep over the line. Had a look at tge fixtures, City, last game at Goodison and Arsenal to finish off. That’s brutal. Can see them matching that low points total.

Just thinking about it, and we are better than Southampton right now.
We'll need to improve a few positions before next season, especially up front, but I don't think any of their players improves our starting XI.

They’ve already beaten Everton twice this season so wouldn’t rule a third out.

We played them with a reserve team even jonjo played and we still outplayed them. They went strong that day also

Do we reckon they’re really worse than that Derby side? Or just unlucky and out of ideas? Because some of their matches haven’t been awful, just no end product and heads drop fast

That Derby team was dire, I don’t think this team is as bad as that, but the points total doesn’t reflect that.

Last ever game at Goodison. Toffees will want that win.

Tyler Dibbling looks useful in cm but Saints never sell anyone on the cheap and are talking North of £50m for a young guy in his breakthrough season

Appointed Will Still as their new manager.
Does that give them a better chance of going straight back up?

Saints need a proven goalscorer and serious luck to get back up. We had a very talented manager and a serious team determined not to loose.Saints look ragged and who is Will Still ?

I've read they want twice that for him. Which they won't get.

Over the past few seasons it seems to have become far more difficult for the newly promoted teams to establish a foothold and stay up and the fact that they find themselves 13 points adrift of safety (effectively 14 due to the shocking goal differences) reflects that.
People point to how shockingly bad Manchester United have been this season, but in nearly all of the head to head meetings against the bottom 3 United came out the winners. They have been bad, but not that bad.
