Loom Loft sofas

Does anybody have any direct experience with sofas from Loom Loft? We’ve seen a few we like but some of the reviews on Trust Pilot suggest they aren’t the best for longevity and customers have been told they are only designed to last around 2 years! I like to try to take extreme reviews with a pinch of salt but I also don’t want to spend a decent amount of money on something that’s not up to the job.

We bought a leather sofa from them just over a year ago, it’s British made and totally fine. We’ve bought various pieces of furniture from them and had no issues. Service and deliveries have been first class.

Thanks for this. I feel more comfortable with a company like that if something goes wrong than with one of the bigger national chains I think

How many other football message boards do you find where a person can ask (and get an answer) about the quality of sofas from a particular shop. Love it!

Exactly my thoughts! I felt a bit daft but I didn’t need to! Our season is finished afterall!

Which is why this message board can be so good. I've had help in getting tradesmen to do work at my house, plenty of technical advice too and the laptop I'm currently using came after getting so much advice on here.

Me too.
Took umpteen recommendations off contributors off here and they've all been good.

Try Home living Outlet in Accrington
They use exactly the same suppliers and more. They are a lot cheaper as it hasn't got the glossy showroom
Top guys as well they really look after you

Loom Loft is owned by the family behind Oswaldtwistle Mills. A very credible operation, with decent quality furniture. The bistro at Clitheroe is excellent as well.

As a side note, their cafe upstairs do a fantastic Full English breakfast

No one helped me trying to source Cece’s ice cream
But then I think they went out of business in the 60’s
I loved it and don’t think I have tasted better

Taskers in Accrington are having a”Closing down sale” selling off lots of stock. 50% off a lot of things apparently.

Their sofas are good quality.
Local furniture manufacturer Buoyant Upholstery, amongst others, are one of their suppliers.
And yes, their bistro upstairs does the best full English breakfast.

No sofa is designed to last 2 years. That's absolute rubbish. That will be the manufacturers warranty.
I know the majority of manufacturers they buy from and it's the better quality ones in the UK.
As has been mentioned buoyant upholstery in Nelson are a big supplier to them

The one I’m sat on now was manufactured by Buoyant. It’s on its last legs but has lasted for years and has been top quality.

I have bought three sofas from loom loft and cannot fault their service or quality and I think their non leather sofas are made by Buoyant at Nelson and I would not hesitate buying from them again.

I believe it's a clearance sale pre-refurb, rather than 'closing down'.

Go a bit further past Clitheroe down the A59 and have a look in Shackletons.
Amazing sofas, well made and have outlasted others we've bought in the past from the likes of sofology and the like.
Downside is they only offer 12 months 0% finance, as opposed to others who do 3&4 years 0%.
