Vintage shirt help

I wonder if anyone on here has a knowledge of how much vintage shirts are worth?
I have a Vintage Burnley FC 1981/82 Home shirt (i think its from that season?) its long sleeved home shirt with embroidered Burnley club badge with the sponsor spall with the stitched number 12 on the back (possibly indicating its matchworn or possibly prepared however I can’t 100% say it is)
Does anyone know of how much it would be worth? I will try post some pics of it too.

I think you may have the shirt for the 82/83 season just before the club took on Poco to be the first shirt sponsor.

I can't help but that's an absolutely beautiful shirt. Long sleeves is always a winner. Proper claret and blue, proper badge (bring it back!!) and the blue number on the back just looks so smart.

I’ve got the short sleeve version and was offered over £500 a year or two ago.
I’m not/wasn’t looking to sell, the chap just chirped up on fb.
Mine has two claret stripes on the sleeves so maybe 81/82??

Great offer that, least it gives me an idea of how much its worth!!!
I’ve got all the home/away shirts since 93 bar a couple when I started supporting them however i was gifted this shirt and would be happy to sell it to a true claret who supported them at the time as its a rare shirt. Cheers for your help though pal.

Interesting. I’ve also got a long sleeved Spall with a stitched on #12. Signed by the team on the back. I bought it on eBay about 20 years ago. Seller said it was signed in the bus home after the last game of the season. Now I’m wondering “what season?” as I always thought 1981-82 but mine seems different to the OP’s.

No yours is 81/82 (with the stripes on the sleeve). The one in the original post is 82/83 when the stripes had gone. I’ve got a similar 81/82 signed shirt from the ones supposedly signed after the last match. I’ve heard they were auctioned off and presumably have changed hands several times over the last 43 years.

Amongst many, got the yellow and white spall ones. Think I bought the yellow one to go to the World Cup in Spain in 82, and wore it to the Milk Cup semi final in Liverpool………….when I were a lad!!!

Has anyone any recommendations for the best site to use, for selling some of my selection of signed Burnley shirts. Including Ings and Vokes Poppy Day and an unsigned McCann one. Ian Wright and Jay Rodriguez.

Can I contact you to offer on this ? I am collecting every shirt from this until current season and it is one of a few I am missing ! Would offer very well for it. Do you use X or Instagram (or email failing that ?)
