Although a loss for the House, that was a great game of cricket. Well done Rammy, onwards and upwards, come on The House!!

That game lost for me on the toss and the bizarre decision to bat first in poor and intermittent conditions. Rammy in contrast got the straight run and better weather.
We seemed to lose grip with who was bowling when too towards the end.
For me..not one of Bens finest days.
Rammys tail stuck in there when many seem to fall apart. Once Caton fell I thought that was the end for them but they rode it out no problem.

Another poor display by Burnley not helped by needing to score 10 runs more than Norden. Pity we weren’t all out. Erasmus is shocking at the moment Conceded 30 off 3 then made no attempt in the run chase after a great opening partnership. We are not good enough right now

You're very lucky Middleton are far worse otherwise it could be squeaky bum of a season for Burnley. I don't think everything is as it should be at Burnley right now. Allegedly some players not happy with Ocki and his batting at the moment as well

I’m not surprised they are unhappy. Chasing over a run a ball he scored 17 in 39 balls and that after a really good start from the opening pair.

Ocki being Ocki. He is frustratingly slow at scoring. Hard to knock over but has never had the best strike rate.
I'm not in the know at all but I think it became clear that we needed something different at Lowerhouse hence we let him go. I think Burnley are seeing the same now.

Get the guy from Bacup signed. Now he can bat. The difference today was between the pros. Erasmus stealing his match fees right now

Chiggy’s signed a 4 year deal at Bacup. He definitely won’t be going to Burnley any time soon

He has signed a 4yr deal with Bacup.
Ocky is playing at a higher level and will prove his worth over the season.
The pro will always come under scrutiny when things aren't going well though.

Defeat for Hardwood at Greenmount with the previously excellent Harwood pro starting to look rather weary and disinterested with both bat and ball which was kind of crucial today unfortunately. Harwood could have won if the middle order had capitalised on a very good start.

Might have more to do with people not wanting to swill ale down their necks in the rain Lets face it the vast majority don’t go to watch the cricket. It’s the beer what brings in ‘the fans’
