All this talk about VAR being better in Europe than in the PL

Ref's are meant to be far better at sorting out these sort of incidents than they are in the PL

Absolutely, never a penalty, disgraceful decision for var to let it go, ref looks the proverbial, was never going to change he's mind, even if he'd been asked to look at it.

Just had a look at the European WC qualifying tables on the BBC website and am surprised to see that, after this match, Wales will be halfway through their qualifying campaign having played 4 games. Groups A-F, however, have yet to play a single match.

I'm not a fan of VAR, but how could it possibly work with VAR only being enabled at the ref's discretion, when VAR is intended to be used to potentially change a decision that the ref thought he had correct?
