For this season we'll be publicising trips and taking bookings for each game from the Friday before tickets go on sale on the following Monday.

All seats will need to be paid for online before bookings are confirmed. Seats will not be guaranteed until payment is received and the booking request has been ‘Liked’ on the messageboard. Requests for a booking must include the number of seats required (stating how many are adults and how many are U16), where you want to get on, your surname and your email address (once you’ve given your address you don’t need to do so for future bookings). I’ve added the email address requirement so that we can directly contact you if we need to send out messages about pickup time changes, behaviour issues etc.

For bookings made on the messageboard more than 7 days in advance of a game, payment must be made within 48 hours (if not made by then, the booking will be cancelled). For bookings made less than 7 days before a game, payment must be made within 24 hours (if not made by then, the booking will be cancelled). Bookings must be paid for in 1 payment.

When making payment, please ensure that you give the username of the person making the booking on the messageboard and which game you are paying for eg Leisure - Chelsea. Without this info we may not be able to recognise your booking. Please note that usually the maximum number of characters allowed is 18.

Once a booking has been paid for, there will be no refunds given for cancellations. However, any cancellations made prior to 7 days before a game will be credited by the amount paid for use on a future game. For cancellations made less than 7 days before a game, a credit will only be given if we manage to re-sell the seats.

We’ll be trialling these new booking arrangements for the Huddersfield and Stoke games and we’ll then make changes if necessary.

But if you are paying for a game and putting your name and the game as reference. What happens if two people with the same surname want to book the same game.

I’m not being a pain as I fully understand why you are doing it

Easy to sort:
Surname then, in brackets (your up the clarets user name) followed by game it relates to.

There will be a surname in all likelihood that matches on the bank transfer so maybe a reference of username & game would keep it shorter.

I'm not being a pain I'm really trying to help so the system doesn't become too hard to manage. At times I have found putting a ref on the bank payment a little restrictive. Due to lack of characters available.

Some Football names are quite long and some user names are quite long. If you look at one of your responses from 'Wadeswondergoal' Should you think about using the username but leaving 2 digits for the game.

If it's the first game you specify using number 1 and so on, up to number 19 that way you are giving everyone as many characters for their user name.

You could actually tell people what numbers to use in your post regarding costs

Only a thought please ignore if you think it's not required
