He's just made the 3rd French goal

He’s been in and out so far but he appears to have a really good workrate, has been up and down that flank and had a hand in the 3rd. Cut inside and shot at the keeper early on too. Looks a good prospect at 21, to me. The French team in general look excellent.

Tchaouna used a runner well and created an excellent chance for himself after only a couple of minutes or so.
Didn't get hold of the shot though. Easy save for the keeper.
Looks decent, without looking brilliant, in what is a far superior French side to the Poles.
A good, crisp pass across the 18 yard line for his teammates third goal.
And as jedi says, he's a great work rate.

The other lad we were linked with Abline…I think , has recently come on whilst Loum has gone off

And has looked impressive so far.

Abline looks a really promising number 9. I saw Nantes don’t want to sell and he’d cost £17-18m.

And he’s just scored.

Abline looks to have all the attributes, obviously needs to mature, but looks pretty good, held the ball up well, moved in the right channels, and took he's goal well.

You're going to have to explain that.

Re Bersart comment when he played at the Turf looked a World beater but in the end turned into a very bad mistake signing.

Didn’t he pick up a bad injury early on? I remember him playing at Accy and he looked decent.

The Berisha comment was pretty much as Woodley said but with the tasty caveat that he also smashed one against the bar that Albania u21 game.

Absolutely outstanding for Albania that night, looked a bit special. Sadly got that early injury playing for his country and once fit was just pushed out of the picture by Coyle.

We'll never know how good he might have been for us but I recall the excitement on the message board one night when a brand new poster came on and said we were close to signing him. I don't think many took him seriously but I checked his IP address and he was posting from Hamburg.

And obviously he then became an A League legend. I remember going to watch some random football in Australia and thinking surely there aren't two Besart Berishas, this must be the one who played for Burnley.

He looked very good in that game, England had a few decent names in the team if I remember.

I actually went to the game with a friend of mine who was a Blackburn fan and they thought he was outstanding and wanted them to sign him. I couldn't believe it when he did sign for us.

Thanks for the reviews guys. Really good to hear you both pick up on his work rate, we’ll definitely need that!

I thought Koleosho in his first 10 Premier League games before injury had great work ethic too.
