I attended an FA Webinar with Edwards about 18 months ago. Luton were surprising a few people and he seemed to be at the peak of his powers.
Hard to credit how quickly it unravelled after that.

Could get Boro a top six finish .They love a kicking side on Teeside so if he implements Luton alehouse brawler tactics he will be popular.

That's a bizarre appointment. I'd much prefer Carrick over Edwards. His performance last season was one of the biggest managerial underachievements I've seen for a while.

It's certainly a step away from Carrick's style of football. Edwards may need a few incomings for his style of play. Whittaker and Azaz aren't Adebayo and Morris! As a sidenote, Alfie Doughty signed a new contract with Luton 12 months ago. It was quite the leap in salary if the report at the time are to be believed. I wouldn't be surprised if he rocks up at Boro this summer as clearly Luton will need to ship a few high earners on after relegation.

Similar thoughts and going from one style of football to one considerably different

A Boro lad I know described it as a lazy and dull appointment.
He thinks Gibson has lost his enthusiasm for the club.

As he's not a 'Boro fan he's probably not that bothered?

I think Morris will end up at Derby. I did not see Luton's absolute collapse coming this past season. I may have been in the minority in rating Edwards when he was in the PL with Luton-he seemed to handle himself well, particularly with the Tom Lockyer serious setback that ended his career, and may well have previously got Watford close to promotion the year Kompany managed us, but Luton started to fall badly in the PL after a promising start and his results with them this past season where catastrophic

As has been already perfectly answered above, I am not arsed 1 bit who Boro appoint in the same way I wouldn't expect a Boro fan to be arsed about us

Bothered enough to comment on the thread so I was just wondering if he was in agreement or not perfectly reasonable question
