How to win the Premier League

Has anyone read this Sunday Times Best seller written by Ian Graham Director of Research at Liverpool FC from 2012.
Fascinating to see how data analysis drove recruitment (or on one occasion stopped it when they couldn’t find anyone better than what they had.
It explains why half of all transfers fail and how expected goals and statistics on passing shooting tackles etc allow players to be rated and how Transfermarkt values were good enough for their analysis.
What happened to the company Pace said he’d bought for this?

Weren't Brentford the first moneyball team to hit the prem?

Once upon a time it was, "Get more points than Man United" but these days that just keeps you up!

There's an open bracket there, but no closing bracket.
Personally I'd beware of these "what ever they are".

Hi Doug
They certainly feature in the book with a section about them (and Brighton) as early adopters when in the championship with a mention of Tarkowski being sold to buy Andre Gray and others.
Graham starts his story at Spurs with moderate success then a disaster with Brendan and success with Klopp.
Expected Poseidon Value was a new one on me as was much of the book.

If you aren't already Liverpool it's

1: Get bought by a country
2: Ignore PSR
