Imo extremely annoying and if it's to play the IOM or some other non descript team in a friendly totally unnecessary. Disruption early season is not what we need .

International breaks are worldwide and during them we will have several players missing. Do you want us to play games without a lot of players?

No I want all international games played that are important but it seems we have far too many friendly games. The stopping the league programme two weeks in is nonsense and the number of international games need curtailing It appears every season we have more disruption. .

I think from next season rather than having 2 weeks in September, October and November for internationals we're just going to have a block of 3 weeks (weekend and midweek) of internationals to reduce the break up of the season.

They're a pain but one positive is they do really help attendances at clubs way down the pyramid, they noticeably increase when it's an international break. Not that I imagine for a second that's what FIFA or the FA are thinking about.
