Who is this? (genuine this time)

Having failed miserably yesterday with my pp effort at a Chris Pearce 'lookey likey' picture quiz I am a glutton for punishment so decided to post another quiz photo from my scrapbook and would ask that you try to name the players featured and see if you can spot the Burnley connection. Which two players also featured in different FA Cup finals in the 1960's (name the years and their respective clubs at the time).
No mention of cruises either in the Med or Thompson Park boating lake.
Good luck with this one.

Jimmy Mullen. That's it for me.

I think it's Peter Rodrigues top right, captained Southampton to FA Cup win.
Obviously Sheff Wed, but that's as far as I can go.
Edit, just realised Saints won the cup in the 70's, so might not be the correct answer.

Correct player. Try a different Cup Final year?

Peter Rodrigues is 2nd from the right.
He was known as ‘master of the slide tackle’. Man and ball in one go. He wouldn’t last 5 minutes tackling like that with today’s rules.

Did one play for West Ham v Preston in the 60s?

Little fella in bottom right looks like John Sissons, he played for WHU intheir 3-2 cup final win over PNE.
A guess at Johnny Fantham who played in their 2-3 defeat to Everton in’66
Apart from Jimmy Mullen the only Clarets there around that time were Sammy Todd and Eric Potts but I don’t think either are on that picture

Correct with John Sissons (far right) and the 1964 Cup Final.
As with ‘Haha Yeah’ above you are correct with Jimmy Mullen 3rd from right.
Fantham not on there.

You’ve got Rodrigues correct as playing for Leicester in their 1969 1-0 defeat by Man City.

Peter Rodrigues looked ancient for his entire career, like Dorian Gray in reverse.

Keep up the good work, BHC!
The only one I would have got was Peter Rodrigues, and I have no recollection of his having played for Sheffield Wed
And how many syllables in Rodrigues?

It was in the days when they had to change the spelling, and also change it to two syllables.

First syllable - Rod
Second syllable- rigues, rhymes with leagues.
That's how we said it back in those unlightened times.
I don't know it for a fact though likely his family swapped a z for an s.

It's ex loan 'striker' David Jones. 6 foot 3 until a cross came into the box when he was 5 foot 6. And of course returned to the Turf playing centre half for Doncaster and promptly scored the winner

I do remember going to a game at Orient and thinking “who the hell is this”
