Beyer has just put this on Instagram.
Could be a training ground game by the looks of it and if so his first taste of match action in a considerable time. Good luck to him if so!

Marcus Edwards scored the only goal of the game as we defeated Fleetwood Town in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Burnley Training Centre earlier today

Does anyone know what's going on with Esteve's wrist? He wore a cast all last season, one would think it would have healed by now but I see he's still wearing it. Obviously a chronic condition.

Jordan close to tears? He nearly brought me to tears with that interview - so great to see him wearing the claret shirt again.

If we can get Beyer Ramsey and Tresor anywhere close to being involved regularly there’s three ‘signings’ that could hugely improve us as a squad

Might be wrong but I thought he did an interview a while back where he said it almost became a good luck charm for him, so he keeps wearing it

The fact the club posted a picture of him in the kit in the 12 match day pictures, is about as good as an idea you will get that he played

Had the pleasure of meeting Beyer at Gawthorpe a couple of years ago. What a top lad he is, a really delight to speak to.
And as mentioned above, his English is absolutely superb (like a lot of Germans tbf)

As a youngster, I used to enjoy going down Gawthorpe and standing at the fence, watching the players training. Not been down since the new training ground was built, I guess one can't get any where near now?

I think today’s game was played on the top pitch above the 4G and next to the car park. They now have a matting that covers the fence so it is very difficult to see from the road and said car park.

Is there anything to stop one from floating or wading along the Calder and stopping where the training ground is? Does it remain public?

My dad use to work at Pottertons/Baxi which was/is behind Gawthorpe and many times he use to come home from work saying he’d seen them training that day
One day in February 2000 he came home from work and said, “We saw somebody that looked a lot like Ian Wright down at training today”
Me and my brother said “no you didn’t. It won’t be him”
An hour later the news broke

Absolutely delighted with this. The lad must’ve been nearly broken considering the length of time he’s been out. I feared we wouldn’t be seeing him back, but I’m absolutely made up for him that he’s getting time.
Welcome back Jordan, hopefully the recovery continues and we get you back in the starting 11.

I once went down at half term when I was 14 with my mum and we ended up chatting to Stan for about 20 minutes while he watched training. Just the three of us while my heroes trained in front of us. It's one of my favourite childhood memories
