Came back from Protaras, Cyprus last week.
Going Los Cristianos Tenerife in September.
Thinking about a cheeky week in either Majorca or Ibiza in August.
And any other I can pick up cheap 8-)

When I was a lad we'd be heading to Squires Gate holiday camp and be chuffed about it. I remember queuing for the train at Burnley Central carrying my bucket and spade.

Burnley Wakes weeks, was it first 2 weeks in July? Everyone went to Blackpool on the train when we were kids, if you were lucky your family got one of those compartments to yourself. Other passengers would walk past in the corridor casting envious eyes! :D

Already done a long weekend in Wexford, Ireland and two short breaks in Abersoch, Wales.
Off for a weekend in York for the races on the 25th.
Then Vegas for nine nights at the end of August.
Hopefully get a week in Morocco or the Canaries before the end of the year

I do my Sunny holidays in April-May, October or over Xmas and New Year these days. Peak summer months are far too warm for me, plus, being in Prague in summer aint bad.

Got a few trips coming up mind, Pulp a week on Friday in Sheffield, a week at Edinburgh festival with an Oasis gig in the middle, then Deadmeet festival in Manchester end of August

Just bought a campervan, going to take it around Ireland for 18 days. Starting in Belfast, through NI, Donegal, Galway, Killarney and finally a week with family down South before heading for Dublin.
Including a climb up Carrauntoohil with Tricky Trevor.

Already done Panama, stayed with relatives, and Lisbon, Mrs Ts birthday treat from the girls.
Few days in Belfast at end of month, Carcasonne in September and last one of the year hasn’t been named yet.
Neither of us are beach or bar bums. We just like visiting different cities.

Alas France wasn't on our list , I would say Rowls would be the person to ask on that one.
We left on the 1st Feb and doing Spain , Italy and Greece for 3 months each ( tax reasons as the wife is working ) .
We picked a base and rented , still have the car so we can get around . You have to go all in as we never talk about Ireland to people we meet only live for the time where we are . People make or break where you are and so far we have found the locals outstanding , just wish I could have more of the language , but I do really try .

Stayed in Duće in Croatia next to the seafront for 10 nights, about 40 mins south of split. Absolute paradise.
Will definitely be going back to Croatia.
Did a walking trip in the Cairngorms when I got back. Stayed in a chalet in Aviemore for 2 nights and did the Ben Macdui, Cairn Gorm route. Definitely recommend Aviemore

Zadar is a great place on the Croatian coast. You can get ferries from there to elsewhere in Croatia or Italy, or even do small cruises down towards Dubrovnik etc

I live in a house overlooking the Med on the Costa del Sol between Benalmadena and Fuengirola. I hate the holiday period in July and August, too many bloody tourists, no parking anywhere, can get a bit too hot to go out walking, can't wait for September to get back to normal.

As someone mentioned above I prefer winter/spring trips and stay home in summer when it’s warm & light.

3 trips to the canaries so far this year. Somewhere unconfirmed for September (can’t decide!) and then Tenerife for the usual November trip once it starts to get a bit grim in Burnley.

Protaras is very nice.
Greek island for me in September, just not sure which yet. I’ll book nearer the time and hopefully get a decent half board deal somewhere.

Some of my friends down here go up to Benidorm for Christmas. Much livelier than down here, but they normally need a week to get over it.
