He wasn't very good. We've done well to get a decent fee for him.

I wish him all the very best. I loved his enthusiasm for art and his determination to embrace Burnley after his arrival. Hopefully he can settle into first team football now and have a solid career.

We are incredibly light on numbers in midfield

Good luck to him. Been patient and not appeared to raise a fuss.

But Massengo was never going to play. Kompany never gave him a start with him just getting one in the Championship under Parker.
It’s a good move for him and for us.

Inevitable after his training ground scrap with Connor, wish him all the best, he made a real effort to understand the area and people.

Always thought he looked tidy when he played. Good luck to him.

Is this common knowledge? First I'd heard of it

All the best to him - took the time to learn about and respect the town and club.

I only caught a few glimpses as a sub but had the same impression.

I do agree in relation to Massengo Tony, was just commenting on our lack of midfielders in general really, particularly with Brownhill also seeking pastures new and Ramsey on the back of a very long term injury

Makes sense was to why McDermott was up at Dundee for one game and then recalled by Burnley

Nothing new there. Never mind another winger training with us.

Reading an Augsburg newspaper report the other day, they weren't too impressed with his stats. 60 odd profi starts (I think) with several clubs, yet 0 assists and 0 goals. It's Sandro Wagner's first trainer post after his brief spell as Germany's co-trainer, so it will be interesting. His media work now finished, he needs to translate his 'attractive' footballing beliefs on tv into results in the Bundesliga.

How much was the (estimated, of course) fee?

Another very average signing - neither VK or SP thought him good enough
There have no doubt been some successes, but way too many that just didn't look up to the required standard for last season, never mind this one.
There's probably another 10 - 12 of the current squad who will likely not feature in the Premier League or Championship (if we go back down)
But it's going to be difficult to move a lot of them off the books immediately
Numbers currently stand at 42, and we still need additions in starting roles for 2025/26
Hopefully Parker will be questioning the role of some in the recruitment team
At least, most of the "new" signings this summer should be starting games which shows SP must be having a positive input

A good move for him, hopefully he can find regular football. Sounds like a good deal for us too, read 3m euros.

Have you anymore info on the alleged incident or are you just jumping to conclusions that Roberts is a gobshite with his team mates?
Similar to Barnes, a lot of it appears to be an act and he seems popular with his team mates.
Unless of course you have some inside info that you would like to share with us?

Well we saw him gobbing off to Weghorst, which tbf i ddn't particularly mind.....
Apparently now he fell out with Massengo..... although nothing is in the open, he does seem to be the constant.....
One persons banter can be another persons last straw, i guess. Same in any workplace really

World's gone mad. That's the going rate for a Championship reserve player?

Totally agree - think a midfielder and striker are the two positions we need to be adding to.

So he's literally had one "alleged" issue at the Club in 4 years and he's the constant ?
Wow that's some stretch is that !

A 100 points a season kind of championship side, mind. Not your run of the mill champ lot like PNE or rovers.

Excellent businesses considering we got him in on a free. Plus fees and wages saved while out on loan.

Tried his best for Burnley on and off the pitch.
Good luck to the lad.
