Littleborough have a great stream - they are streaming it.
We will be showing it at the club for those not travelling. The second team will be streamed Sunday at home.

Unfortunately the weather forecast for tomorrow isn't looking too good. Hopefully it's wrong as Littleborough is my favourite other ground.

Read are having to play without a professional tomorrow as he serves a one match ban for his hysterics at Padiham last week.
I can't ever remember a pro being banned before.

I thought there was an LCF ruling that you can only fine Pros... not ban them?

What did he do? I saw the Facebook post and had a little chuckle, thinking the page was going to get bombarded with private messages asking.

Grandson's LHCC U9's semi final home game this morning has been called off, if that's anything to go by.
Very frustrating.
Enjoy your cricket wherever you are.

Choosing to bat first on what will in all likelihood be a rain affected game. Eh? I've listened to the podcasts and I know the mentality and they back themselves but it's just bizarre.
DLS oddities get blamed for losing against Burnley but in reality choosing to bat first cost us that day.
Just risky.

My fave too but today isn't worth it unless you don't mind sitting around in the clubhouse waiting for rain to stop. Radar looks very iffy. Lots of rain on the way.
Having said that I gave Rochdale a miss and they somehow squeezed a game out of it.
Not worth the drive for me. Always finals day next week.

Burnley were due to play Haslingden at home today, not away as previously mentioned.
I think it was the only game to start. Haslingden were 22/4 from 10 overs with Erasmus having taken 4 for 7.
Been no updates for some time although still says match in progress.

The match will be off no doubt. Burnley are notoriously bad for updating play cricket.

Something very quintessentially English about watching a live stream of a rained off cricket match.

Ww got a 29 over game in at Padiham and Read had similar.
Needed a bit of help from the umpires to stay on in light rain.

You can ban pro's in the NWCL as Jamal Stuart has been banned before.
Read took the step of banning him one game hoping the league doesn't take it further.

I watched a rain cover for over 40mins and turned it off after they shook hands. Good hour and a half spent in my eyes

There will be a bowl out at Turf Moor if the rain stops, failing that, the toss of a coin. Shocking way to decide the outcome of the LCF Knock Out competition.Decision likely around 3pm.
