Losing one nil.
Just had a message from a colleague. Walker at Centre Half in a 3-5-2.

FWIW, I heard we had a friendly before Fleetwood. Back three of Walker, Tuanzebe and Esteve. I assumed Walker right of the three, but maybe not.
Parker did say after Fleetwood it was our first game though, so maybe my info was wrong.

From the video I’ve seen, Ekdal is the central CH today. Koleosho looks central and is apparently playing really well.

Id imagine Koleosho is playing on the central left in the 3-4-3 I’ve been talking about. Where he played for the Italian 21s.

I was with some Wolves fans five weeks ago today. They told me they were going to Portugal pre-season but they weren't playing any games. "You have," I told them, "You are playing us."
I'd been told about it but not head anything since so thought it might not now be happening. It obviously is.

From the training clip on X of Kyle Walker they have been playing him in a 3 at the back.

Can anyone remember the score in the Kompany friendly with Wolves? 4-0 loss rings a bell.

Have a Wolves mate watching some of the game. We’ve definitely scored one. Sent me a photo - Esteve, Pires, Anthony and what looks like Worrall on the pitch.

Anyone able to see who we’ve got at right wing back then if Walker is playing in the back 3?

Cheers pal. I was wondering if there would be a winger playing there as sometimes happens in this formation.

Good point, I’d forgotten that game. They do throw out odd results and fitness is the aim of the game, but it’d be an interesting barometer given we’ve played them each pre-season.

Was it JBL who scored for us?

Looks as if he got a hat trick from the posts.
Final score 1-1 or 3-1 to the Clarets?

Walker was centre back in the training sessions but maybe that's until Humphreys comes back then Walker may move to wing back

I did think when we signed walker, we would go 5 at the back. Bit unsure about it, but I think we can safely say it will be that formation come spurs.

Coming on with 10 minutes left and 3-0 down isn’t a great game to judge someone.
I thought the signing was strange all the same, leaving Ajax B team to be nowhere near our first team

We were to be fair, even Estève was poor that day. I appreciate it wasn’t the best way to make a debut but he looked lost.

Haven't bought a shirt for a few years but I think I will definitely have this one. I think it looks great. A kind of classic look , and not too garish

Wonder if they post on here?
