It is the same as previous years. I always auto select initially to get the league set up and then tend to leave it until a couple of days before, start making loads of changes and make the team a whole lot worse than when I started.

Just to flag: there's an additional way to score points this season.

The addition of Defensive Contribution points in Fantasy helps reward outfield players who may not earn a goal or an assist but still make significant contributions during a match.
Any defender who reaches an accumulative total of 10 or more clearances, blocks, interceptions (CBI) and tackles in a single match will earn 2 points.
Any midfielder or forward who reaches an accumulative total of 12 or more clearances, blocks, interceptions (CBI), tackles and recoveries will earn 2 points.

Would've been especially worthwhile having Ben Mee in your team for this back in the day.
