Getting a shirt signed and training days

Could anyone advise me on the best way to get a shirt signed? I'm presuming it is just like I did when I was a kid and hang around at Gawthorpe and catch them on the way in/out. If that is still the best way, I don't suppose anyone knows when they train?!
Thanks for any help!

You can’t go in now I don’t think so all you can do is hang around outside and hope they stop as they drive out.

Yeah wait at the turning before the gates, most players stop all the time if you wave at them.

Used to be able to buy them for around £150 (i bought one for £100 in 2006/07) at the club shop a few years back, but not seen such an offer for a long time unfortunately.

Cheers everyone. I thought that would be the case. Only live round corner from Gawthorpe so I'll keep wandering down and hope I get lucky!

If you’ve access to a child take them with you.
They may be more likely to stop and sign for them than an adult

Don't you run a junior football team wilks? Maybe you could hire them out for this purpose.

Most of my lot that big now I wouldn’t stop for them

The players are genuinely brilliant with the kids that wait outside the training centre. I saw two last season with huge grins after being given a boot each from Hannibal.
I once saw Darko clutching a shirt Zaroury had given him

I remember walking past Gawthorpe one day a good few year ago and Brain Easton was outside, as I got close he held up a sign asking for my shirt
