Not sure if we've had this before but...
Are there/have there been many other palindrome pro footballers?

Think I saw somewhere the other day that he is the 5th Liverpool player in their history with a palindromic name.

Two brothers from back in the day surname Hannah, Ojo and Kabak from more recent times.

No idea why nonsense like this sticks in your brain.

They also had a academy player called Leon Noel

Having watched him a lot in the flesh over the last couple of years, he's an exciting prospect for Liverpool, but also a big risk with the fee paid for him.

He's very skillful, and can beat a man very effectively. He just needs to hone his target practice, as his shot conversion isn't the best.

I personally thought Marmoush was the more complete player, however Ekitike is young, and has a lot of potential

Newcastle thought they’d just about got him to partner Isak. No Isak has told them he wants to move.

Isak by the way doesn’t fit this thread.
