With 14/15 players departing Sheffield Wednesday and no incomings never was the phrase “down to the bare bones” seemingly more appropriate.

Parker said after the game at Huddersfield that we’d be doing the same and having two games the following weekend.

Stokes’ home game last Saturday was streamed. Hopefully we’ll get access this Saturday.

I missed that but someone told me he'd said it - now we know.

All behind closed doors - I don’t think they dare let anyone in

Match has been cancelled due to the ongoing issues at Wednesday. Players have apparently gone on strike.

From the article below:
It’s understood that Burnley had offered to pay for the hotels of Wednesday figures as part of the agreement that would have seen the run-out kick-off earlier to facilitate the host club’s plans.

I desperately hope there is a resolution for Sheff Weds very soon, and one that gets that dreadful man out of there. Such a great and historic club being destroyed.

Apparently the players have been told that the Club will not be arranging overnight accommodation prior to their 1st league game at Leicester and in response the players are considering booking and paying for their own accommodation.

I hadn’t realised things had gotten so bad. Imagine having to pay to stay in Leicester.

Don’t really need to stay overnight in Leicester,it’s only 60 odd miles down the M1 from Sheffield.

Yes, especially as it's a 4.30pm KO but in normal circumstances most teams would probably still stay overnight.

I wonder if we have alternative opponents for our "second string team" at Gawthorpe on Saturday

Reports this morning that the game is off because the players are refusing to play!

Unless the club has anticipated this happening and contacted a local club also carrying a bloated squad I suspect we'll just have the Stoke game.

Are you running a coach for them, Leisure?

It’s not ideal is it? But there was always this risk with Sheffield Wednesday.

Surely we send our primary squad to Stoke, and the others have a training match against each other now?
