It was so obvious there would be a really big demand and would have benefited the team by having a larger vocal backing.

So you haven't tried? You'd think it would make sense for them to take them, and then offer them for sale to those who had the number of points when they were taken off sale but missed out
I'd be pretty peed off if I'd missed out at 1900 points then to find them being offered on here 2 days later to random posters. A few days before the game if people suddenly can't go ok, but available now is a bit suspicious

No, I haven't tried as they aren't actually my tickets and they aren't sure at the minute due to health issues if they can make the game or not. That ok for you?

Why's it suspicious?

It can be hard enough getting tickets after paying for them without arsing about returning them.

When the club announce its sold out, they could advise fans without tickets to keep checking back for returns

You referred to the unfairness of people on here getting a ticket but they haven't. Also, if you look at the Away ticket page, the Club have removed all references to the game and don't even inform fans that it's sold out, never asking them to keep checking back for returns. If they did that, the Ticket office phone and counter would be inundated day after day!

Firstly as he runs coaches he gets bookings from people who have a loyalty points level where they expect to get a match ticket but then due to, for example in case, the club not taking a large enough allocation to meet demand.
Secondly with Pete you don’t have to give blood, fingerprints and buy a VR headset, as you would if you try and return it to the club

I did but I’m making the point that the route of giving Pete a spare ticket is even more likely to end up with the ticket going to a regular travelling supporter than if you gave it back to the club, who couldn’t care less, it seems, or are just poor at almost everything supporter related

IF the club had have had an allocation of 4k we'd have sold them all

I wonder if those in the ticket office who make the decisions have any idea or even care how many people they've screwed over for this game.

I have 2 tickets going spare. I'd prefer to let them go together. There's 1 adult and 1 over 65 ticket.
