Back down to earth with a bump for Luton...weve gone in opposite directions since we hammered them 12 months ago

This time last year I was looking at our opening fixture against Luton and thinking what a difficult game it was.

I was born and grew up in Dunstable near Luton so I always look out for their results.

I even played at Kenilworth road in my younger days so I would like Luton to do well.

Like many others I also have a soft spot for the Dons.

So hoping for an entertaining draw.

I live just outside MK and have a soft spot for Luton but no time for the Dons (ex scout) so i've seen/experienced just how much they couldn't give a monkeys about local talent!

Do Luton have lots of injury’s or are key players on their way out?

Does anyone know why the Wimbledon number 31(?) doesn’t have a shirt sponsor on his shirt? Is it just an omission or is there a deeper meaning?

Well, Adebayo is out for a long spell, had some operation earlier this year.

Luton look as bad as last season, early doors yet.

Seems very odd with it being Football Manager.

His shorts must be about three sizes too small as well.

Might be a smash and grab from Wimbledon late in this

I'm no different, just assumed wrong.

I'm having a hard time trying to wrap my head around whether Luton staying in League 1 would be more beneficial to them financially than if they were to get promoted back to the championship. This is in terms of parachute payments. I had a natter with Grok but am still perplexed. After a long winded answer, this was its summary...

Yeah but it is seriously poor. No problem with saying it how it is, but maybe people should stop moaning about lack of signings and what may lie ahead for us. It could be worse - we could be Luton!

Cracking flick over the keeper with his head, spotted he was off his line, back to goal, great awareness.

Dons dont deserve that, their lad in the Luton half should have tackled/fouled at the start of the attack really.
