Good move for him, he needs to go and play first team football now rather than spending more time in the under-21s.

It's so difficult when a player has no first team experience - so often clubs just won't take them. Yes, he's better than Accy, with no disrespect, but he will be getting first team football now.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he was recalled in Jan and sent back out again at a higher level, very good start point for him though.

Which is what we did with Dara Costelloe who spent the first half of last season with Accy.

Lets hope it's mutually beneficial and that he shines for them. Lad has got quality and needs a confidence building season.

Damn good player, and he had a full season last season following his ACL and so has got over that. I suspect he hasn't signed in time for their League Cup tie tonight but I'm sure he'll do well for them.

Be tough for him there, they don’t play football they don’t dominate possession,it Will certainly toughen him up

Probably the best signing for any club in league 2.
I know that Ash Hoskin recommended him to Stanley last season, but Burnley didn't want to know.
I thought he could have gone to a league 1 maybe Championship team and not looked out of place.

Great use to local neighbours getting a talented young player out getting consistent minutes hopefully

Not a great move at all. Very disappointed. Dundee would have been a far better option

I think it's great for the player and for Stanley
A certain James Trafford played there not too long ago
it's not always about the level at this stage

It must be frustrating for Parker. I'm sure he'd have loved to have given him an opportunity last season but he just couldn't risk it.
He could probably use him a bit from the bench this season but he probably benefits more from playing every week even in league 2.

League 2 for a midfielder like that is not great I'm afraid

Bit surprised at the level, thought league 1 at least. Hopefully he can stay fit and see plenty of action.

If nobody else wanted him I much rather he gets regular game time in League 2 and we reassess his situation in January.

I thought he may have gone to Dundee but at Lg 1 level it gives him a chance to shine and for confidence in his own ability to come through. IMO.

Worked out well for Costello whos now at Wigan and we are Half a Mill up

Good move for him. Let's not get too dismissive of the level, he's got 0 football league appearances.
League Two is a huge step up from u21 or academy football. If he's as good as we're suggesting, he'll be playing every week and that's what matters.

That is exactly the point - he has zero games in the league. And it's difficult then to get clubs higher up. We are helping Accy here but they are helping us and Joe.

I went to Accrington last weekend to watch them play Gillingham. They were much less direct than last season. Bradley Dack played for the Gills and his neck must be sore from watching the ball go over his head.

I would rather he went to league 2 and played than higher up on the bench.
Most of our academy players over the years haven't played regular at league 2 or above so why be negative towards it?

No disrespect to Stanley, but the standard is generally poor in that league, with Accrington being one of the weaker teams too.
Hopefully he’ll rip the division up and come back the better for it.

Not a great move.
I thought the idea of PL2 was to give our young players a better start, so I don't get why we've loaned out a player as good as he is.

Did Espanyol not fancy him?
Anyone turning their nose up at a League Two loan for a player who's never played league football is just being daft.

Try at 6.45pm as they are usually shown an hour before KO.

Let's leave the lad to settle in there and show what he can do. I had hoped for L1 but if it means he can start matches then so much the better.
Some people might disagree but the fact the lad won't need to move (I've no idea where he lives but he won't need to change accommodation) is a bonus.

He will stand out at that level, but he'll also learn a lot about the physical side of the game. He's not played fully grown men every week who will try anything to get him off his own game. Its a physical and mental test as much as a footballing one.

Could have just not spunked tens of thousand per week on Shelvey and given a few extra minutes to Bauress if he was frustrated. Didn't even pick him for the bench in the Preston cup game either. Parker's own choice.
