Have just read the very sad news that Jorge Costa, former Porto and Portugal defender, has passed away at the age of 53.

He was an old-fashioned CB who took no prisoners. Nicknamed "The Tank", I'm sure the forwards he marked will remember him.

Despite his "robust" style he was part of the Porto team that won the UEFA Cup in 2003 and then the CL the following year.
