Good luck to him at Accy. He's certainly at an age now where he needs First Team football.

I like Pye both at centre half and at left back. Good that he will get some first team football now.randomclaret2 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 07, 2025 7:52 pmGood luck to him at Accy. He's certainly at an age now where he needs First Team football.

Another good move.
Good luck to the lad.
Might be well wrong but I hope we'll see several more of the U21 lads get loans before the window shuts.

As long as it leaves us with enough players, but no doubt that loans will help these players considerably. I mentioned players such as Jimmy Dunne, Bobby Thomas and Dara Costelloe who benefited from loans. There are others in the U21s who are ready for loans, without doubt, so I would hope there might be a couple more.

For the first time in a while there have been no new signings in the under-21s ahead of the season so the new players will be those stepping up having completed their two year scholarships although I'm expecting some second year scholars to feature quite regularly such as Troy Savage and Kian McMahon-Brown.randomclaret2 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 08, 2025 9:45 am...Whilst the U21 team is still able to compete at the new higher of football, as you suggest Tony
We've lost Joe Bauress, Logan Pye and Joe Westley this week which will weaken the team without any doubt but at that level it is all about player development and not results. There's no doubt it is a much higher level. We did more than well enough last time we were at that level because we do need to have a team that can compete.
