Trying to make the ground look full as usual for TV cameras but the reflection in the boxes across from the camera gives the game away :D

Presume so, Vegas. He's not even on the bench.

Tommy McDermot is on the bench for Shrewsbury.

Check the Bauress thread, he’s serving a four match ban. I posted on that thread that it was due to an incident in our u21 game against Hull at York.

Can’t find the threat Tony, but does that mean he can now play as he has missed two games for accy and I believe 2 for our u21s?

Our under 21s haven’t played a competitive game. The ban was issued last month.

I was at the game and a Hull player went down off the ball so none of us saw anything. But an extremely irate Hull fan was going crazy, hurling abuse at the officials (and I mean abuse). It turns out it was the lad's dad. At half time, just after the incident, the Hull staff were ranting and asking their analysts if they had it on video. It led to exchanges between the two technical areas and I quickly learned that Jack Cork was as able as I am to using bad language.

I was told later that away from play, Joe had smacked him with an elbow and that it was retribution for the Hull lad going over the top earlier in the game. I thought it had all been done and dusted but Joe has said in an interview with Accy that he's serving a suspension so I looked it up.

I found this:

INCIDENT OF MISCONDUCT – NON-STANDARD CASE
Joe Bauress, Player, Burnley FC

Hull City U21 vs Burnley FC U21
Professional Development League - North
25 March 2025

Breach of FA Rule E3.1 – It is alleged that in/or around the 44th minute, you acted in an improper manner and/or used violent conduct, contrary to FA Rule E3.1.

Joe Bauress admits the charge and elects a paper hearing.

RESULT
£1,250 fine
4 match suspension

That's a shocker, and even more so when you consider Middlesbrough had 6 players that played in their last league game and Doncaster changed all 11 players from their last league game.

I've got to agree. How can Spurs field a full strength squad against us on Saturday at 3pm, given they are playing against PSG tonight.

Hopefully goes the full distance.
