I'm sure that when they came down The Imp, with their famous light show, they had a definite article. Can anyone confirm that and if so when the name changed, please?

I think they were ‘The Pink Floyd Sound’ in their early years.

Not sure when the change came about, though.

I seem to remember that most of the Syd Barret era had the 'The'.
