Brussels sprouts are the work of the Devil.
A couple of years ago, we ate out for our Christmas dinner, and a bloke at the next table was loudly gipping while attempting to eat a Brussels sprout. Utter madness.

Brussels sprouts should be properly cooked, throughly seasoned, drizzled with oil and then served lovingly arranged in the folds of a freshly-opened bin bag.

Reminds me of Coronation Street donkeys years ago when Rita had a corner cafe. Eddie Hughes ( bin man ) came in and ordered a bacon buttie, he plastered it with brown sauce & Rita said " oh Eddie, why are you putting so much brown sauce on your buttie ", Eddie replied " I don't like bacon"
