Good to see VAR is as useless as ever.

Drury sounds so cautious when Bournemouth are on the attack, the relief in his voice when Liverpool get it out of danger and out to the attack, where his voice suddenly changes to one of optimism...

Liverpool will be in shock at losing a VAR appeal. It looks like it should have been handball and a possible sending off. Complaint going in after the match so next time normal service will be resumed.

It’s not to work like that. If a referee needs to speak to a player he will go via the captain. It’s not to stop players querying decisions.

Their manager is far too good for that, the amount of profit they've made this summer alone should set them up for a few seasons. I think they are expanding their stadium too. Not many weak teams in this league anymore.

During the handball check, which one would assume was a major match incidents, there was clearly other players around, Ibut if this is following on from the UEFA rules then at decisions such as the VAR check for handball only the captains should have been present.

I understand they can query the ref at other times, but this is one of those rules that will be bent for the bigger teams for sure.

IMO this rule needs to be tightened so after any decision only the captain can approach the ref and query the decision, it's about time players had some respect for the officials

Really? The defending for that second goal was woefull, Liverpool are just too big strong and fast. This could be a rout.

I shouldn’t have watched this. It’s a different sport to the Championship.

I spent over an hour in a meeting with PGMO last night when they explained exactly how it would work.

I think it’s been in the main dreadful. Reminds me of a kids game all at hundred miles an hour with the odd decent passing move.
