First day of the season and I’m having a little stag do. Whatever the result, I suspect I’ll be jolly later.

Off to a Food & Drink festival so will have FotMob on high alert. Will take a solid and promising performance and if it's a defeat, then a narrow one with something to build on.

Hummm the wife wants to go for a two hour walk and an ice coffee at her favorite spot where we are .
Not a problem as I am footballing i from 5 to 7 pm ( local time ) , as she said " football season " ,.........

It's a long old season. Just nice to have it back and to enjoy every remaining minute of that pre-season optimism.
