What assets are you looking to trade? Stocks, indices, forex, commodities, crypto?
If you're a beginner, paper trade. Use a broker demo account to make sure you have an edge. No need to pay for services, courses or other nonsense people sell. If it was that good, people wouldn't be selling it.
I've seen many people throw money away trading real money when they don't know what they're doing really. Please be careful! Happy to help further, I trade profitably now, but it took me 3 years of hard work. Its not a get rich quick scheme

If you’re not confident it might be best to find a platform with competitive fees that allows you to invest into funds based on risk appetite etc, and let the experts do the work for you.

If you're a beginner and wanting to keep things simple and diversify lots, probably best to look something like Vanguard Lifestrategy, Fidelity or AJ Bell. You can then choose your risk appetite in terms of the mix between equities and bonds, depending how long you intend to invest for.

The ones I was referring to are passive funds, so charges are low. This might help you:

I use trading 212, low fees and works for me. Comes with some advice/ shared knowledge but do your own research and only invest what you can afford

I just invest in multi-assets live vanguard lifestrategy, hsbc global etc. I don't know enough to be able to do it myself.

Sorry Kenyon, it seems you are talking about investing and not trading which is a totally different ball game! Definitely stick to the simple, long term approach if you're unsure of what you're doing. Good luck!
