Could be involved apparently. That would suggest a place on the bench.

Looking forward to seeing what he has to offer. Could be exactly what we’re missing.

Hopefully. We are desperate for a competent striker.

If he's not fit we start with Zian up front

Id be tempted to play 4 3 3 with Broja, Fleming and Foster up front.Bold and Brave but we need goals. I have every confidence in our defence at The Turf
Sunderland defence is not that good shipping 44 goals last season.

I like Zian but was surprised to see him at Spurs looking as if he had gained weight-his movement was slow too. Probably missed some of pre season and friendlies which hopefully explains it

Not trying to be obtuse Warks but he is absolutely shredded. Lean muscle. So by weight gain presume you need in that sense?

Obviously Foster will start, the other 2 are unlikely to be fit enough to start. Then again some are so anti Lyle that they'd rather play the less than 100% fit and risk them getting a set back.

Can’t say that I saw him being overweight but my god his pace looked slow compared to the spurs defence. He just appeared to give up on one ball as I think he knew the defender had the better of him.

It was limited in what we saw of him though so hopefully we will see him playing to his strengths more as he, and the team get more used to this level

He looked slow up against the fastest defender in the league

I think he has to be Pearcey because unless the club pull a rabbit out of the hat we only have him, Flemming, Anthony, Foster and Larsen capable of scoring more than the odd goal. Maybe that might be enough

Massive luck required on the injury front of course

Zian has pretty sizeable thighs. That's been clear since he joined us.

He's clearly got to gain match fitness which will only come with playing. And he has to step up a level.

I'm a fan of his (apart from his annoying tendancy to foul opponents) and am hopeful about his contribution.

He's an absolute beast - not sure where you've got that from
Ripped to shreds

If we want a striker to unsettle defences then Ash Barnes is your man. He can score the odd goal too.

I am glad someone else saw what I saw-the Spurs midfield and forwards were very mobile and quick, he just stood out as sluggish, which earms you nothing in the PL

Hoping to see more good minutes ( at least ) for Edwards , Ugo and Tchaouna , hopefully we’ve just enough alround to see off Sunderland . The CB situation is a bit concerning with Beyer done , Humph injured and the Brentford lad seemingly also injured . Ekdal is technically good but slow as mud .
