It’s testament to the Lowerhouse amateurs to be winning the league so easily with the professional having a quiet season.

Hell of a second half to the innings.

That’s why they’re champions.

93/5 with all the top order gone on a wicket where it was incredibly unpredictable bounce wise.

Well done Lowerhouse on their sixth (I think?) title.

The trophy hasn’t left the town for years now.

Meanwhile in the bottom half of the table it’s 0 points for Haslingden Norden or Rochdale and 12 points for Rammy

Looks like I missed all this and commented in a thread all of my own with match reports and everything. Maybe a merge CT?

Brilliant win by Burnley ( cricket and football ) chasing 213 at high flying Littleborough it looked all over at 2-2 But Daniel Pickup and then Harry Snowden had different ideas. Needing 2 to win off the last ball a boundary from Harry sealed the deal. Not certain but I think that means the rivalry continues next season UTC

29/5 Burnley at one point chasing 213 and then just over 100/7. Dan Pickup and Harry Snowden won the day with Snowden scoring his best ever Lancs League score one week after returning 8/51 with the ball.

Super game at Littleborough even though my lot managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Fair play to Burnley, Dan Pickup and Snowden were great. And a mention for young Jack Brunt who looks a real prospect.

Watched final few overs on youtube, crowd was 3 men and no dogs from camera angle, hopefully many more near pavilion?

Tbf the camera angles at many grounds can be such that there's barely anyone in the background, but there's actually a very healthy crowd out of sight in and around the pavilion which is out of shot.

Quite a decent crowd on today. The camera is at the Townhouse end pointing towards the least populated part of the ground. 2 of those men would be Brendan Miskella and Oscar Jones :D

Jack looks a really good un, Dan's a top lad.

Great day down lowerhouse with both teams winning their leagues, you don't get many days like that so you've got to enjoy every minute with your friends and family

The point I made last week about Paddy and his batting ability has been proved correct again. To be fair he was moved up from 10 to 9 .

Yes, very good point, but I’d argue yesterday was a perfect example of why he bats where he is. Took the game completely away from Rochdale.
