That game in the early 90s was one of my first. Eli became an instant favourite. I hadn't realised McMinn played against us that day! Another one who'd be a fav of mine, legs completely gone but still a class above.

Steve Davis was quoted after that 2-2 draw against Derby and said of McMinn: "He’s a tricky player but I thought Ian Measham played him well. Ian got some good tackles in but I think he’s a cheat, McMinn. He cons referees.”

well, we certainly know a few of those.

Are we expecting a Tresor appearance? I'd love to see him start.

I remember McMinn conning the referee once and winking at the crowd.

Was my first ever game. Funny that Ted McMinn and his long hair was one of only things that ended up sticking in my mind.

Lets hope they've got the floodlights fixed!!
