Calling all food counters. You are cordially invited to guess how many pearl onions are in my jar. Moreover I would like you to also guess how many ml of joooooose they are pickling therein. I will award any exact guesses 10 counting points, or 5 points for nearest if nobody guesses exactly. Count will close at 1pm on Saturday and results will be published shortly thereafter. I will then combine the points scored with the previous 3 food counts for this season and publish the first version of this seasons food counting points table.

We are still in need of a volunteer to count for the Liverpool game on 14th September, otherwise that game will go uncounted. Which would be a shame because we will need the food counting gods for that one. I would do another count myself but will be abroad on holiday so am unable to oblige. So please can we have a volunteer.

In the meantime let's get stuck into the Manc prima donnas
and get all 3 points on Saturday.
