For the life of me I can't think of any reason or excuse for anyone of any age to give racist abuse to anyone

Hopefully once named if he is employed then he loses his job and maybe learns a lesson from being a racist prick

I'd rather he just suffered embarrassment wherever he went. I've no desire to see his dependants suffer for his views, and I've even less interest in my taxes subsidising him for the remainder of his working days

Unfortunately I have been seen a couple of incidents (not race related) this week that have made me question society overall

My family were intimately involved in the miner’s strike, my brother as a striking miner and me as a young cop who spent a lot of time on the picket lines and we both turned out ok.

I do think that a lot of today's problems within society go back to Thatcher. I also believe that people like this moron are a symptom of society's breakdown, but not the only one. Modern online media also plays a massive part, so I have no complaint you pulling me up for making a direct link to Thatcher.

Racist existed before thatcher. It was just less prevalent because of the lack of social media and smaller platforms of the far/alt right.

A bit deep into social politics for a messageboard but MT herself made no secret of her desire to break community spirit, which has been the trend for successive governments since. She wanted to adopt the American right wing values… and we’ve followed them pretty much ever since. However as I say it is more an argument for an academic paper hat one likely to receive good feedback on a football messageboard.

Strange how my comments linking what was said to the far right were deleted, but others get away with posting whatever they want.
