Co Working in Burnley
Have to drop my car off at MG Chorley tomorrow and need somewhere to work out of with my laptop until the car is ready. Have found the Landmark online which looks OK, anybody got experience? Or other suggestions? BFC used to do something but I no longer think they do.
Thing is, I may need 1 hour or up to 7 hours, all depends on when the garage will have my car ready!

My mate has based himself in the Landmark for a good few years now and loves it.

library free
Re: Co Working in Burnley
I've worked out of the library in emergencies like this and it's been perfect
Edit to include that I considered hotdesking at the Landmark however after five minutes at the library I realised I'd made the right choice.

Re: Co Working in Burnley
I believe the Landmark is fairly expensive for co working now.
There really is a gap in the market for an affordable co working space in and around Burnley.

I used to go to one in Manchester where you paid 6p a minute for the time you were there, capped at something like £20. Whilst in there, you could help yourself to unlimited tea, coffee, cakes, pastries etc. I forget it's name, it didn't survive Covid sadly.Crookedbillet wrote: ↑Thu Aug 28, 2025 10:11 pmI believe the Landmark is fairly expensive for co working now.

Depending on your line of work and whether you need a quiet background, you could do worse than Spoons. Plug some music in and load up on the unlimited brews.

That's a good call actually, and they usually have plug sockets under many of the tables.FeedTheArf wrote: ↑Thu Aug 28, 2025 10:33 pmDepending on your line of work and whether you need a quiet background, you could do worse than Spoons. Plug some music in and load up on the unlimited brews.

Re: Co Working in Burnley
The Landmark’s biggest problem is that there’s less parking than in Barley on a summer day
