that was the story ages ago, we don't actually know if that's been sorted by now

As we complained to FIFA they should have given us the money from their World Club earnings.

It must be a very late call up because he certainly wasn't in the original squad.

Really good player for us and was/is a massive miss.
The one player VK got right, had attitude, ability and loyalty.

Questioning a South American player wanting to make the move he did is bonkers. It isn’t his fault they’re skint.

Hope he goes to the very top .

I must've been watching a different player.

At PL level I thought he was garbage and I don't think we miss him in the slightest.

I wasn’t a fan of VK, a few months after the great season he gave us but to say that Vitinho was the one player he got right, is a bit of a stretch.

Must admit though, despite him not being the best, he was probably the one that I was most disappointed to see leave, around the time of the exodus. He was limited but committed - good on him if he’s achieved his aim

I really like the guy, but I have to say I'm suprised he's made a Brazil squad! That said Henderson has just made England's I suppose.

Hopefully there was add ons for international call ups / appearances in the deal.

You agree with me then.

Whether you rated him or not he was one of the only players who showed some balls and didn't give up in the VK disaster season.

I actually think he's a very underrated player by some on here.

Took him a little bit to adapt but once he had he was probably the most improved player in the squad.

The view of him may have been affected by the expectations people have of Brazilian players. He was a an extremely competent, versatile and hard working player for us. No bells and whistles but a fine player nevertheless. I was sorry when he went and I am sure he would have had a very good season playing under SP.
