Bang on there
Annoyed me last year when I said on here I hated the Premier league and got shot down "what's the point then" "i want us in the best league in the world"
Well, maybe that's just you and you're happy seeing your superstars, but when you take all emotion out of a goal, the games gone

I legit hate the Prem, the only reason to be in it is a financial one but that's not why I watch football

The decisions today may even have all been technically correct, but VAR is still turning me off the game as a whole.
I can't be the only one.

listen to the Marco Silva interview I posted on the VAR thread. Honestly mate and it pains me to say it as I want us to be the best we can be - I much prefer the league below.

The Championship is a great league if you're doing well in it, but if you're not, it's bloody awful!
I remember the Cotterill years all too well.

Like many i would imagine on here i grew up a football obssesive. Its been a huge part of my life, playing, watching, family, friendships, travelling etc. so much time invested / spent linked to football. However i am at a stage now where if it wasn’t for Burnley i probably wouldn’t watch hardly any, if any at all, proffesional football anymore. I hate what it has become at the top level. The finance and selfishness of the elite, the greed, the play acting, the pre madonnas and the bias, the ridiculous rule changes, the reduction of hope, but most of all VAR.
Technically today’s decisions were probably correct, but as weve seen, its used inconsistently, its used to rereferee games and pull all the fun, excitement, in the moment feeling and flow out of the game.
Theyve killed it and theres no going back and thats really depressing.
Scott and this team however give me pride when they conduct themselves and try as hard as they do.

I do love seeing pre madonnas.
