This is in my opinion something ISA and supporters groups should be banging on about.

Not sure how Burnley are getting away with it either. 3 sides of the ground can put tickets on the exchange yet those in the CFS can’t. Surely that’s some form of trade restriction.

There’s probably enough in legal parlance to take on the club, there are on or two on here with legal backgrounds who may offer a suggestion/solution.

Leisure and Claret Tony are usually good for knowledge on the ticket front.

I’ll try and keep bumping this up, in the hope you can get an answer.

You can’t even forward tickets to friends and family with claret numbers either nor upgrade them.

It is two tier ticketing by BFC especially when you also know that it’s digital only in there, no more sharing your ticket if you can’t go on

Great shout, let’s hope we can get some clarity.

I did wonder if the reason was financial as the tickets in the CFS would likely be cheaper on the resale and the club would rather see the more expensive seats in the bob lord, JH etc sold first.

I remember seeing posts on the previous CFS thread saying there was an option to have a season card printed, anybody managed to get this done or was it hearsay?

I enquired about this awhile ago.

The reason given was health and safety and that it was under review.

I was told there was no control over who bought them on ticket exchange whereas if I brought a friend and there was a trouble it was easier to identify the season ticket holder who had invited or given the season ticket card.

It's been like this ever since the Arsenal game a few seasons ago when their was some trouble. When ticket exchanges was brought in it wasn't allowed in the CFS and still isn't to this day.

I tried this tonight to forward to someone in my f&f and it came back with this error message: ONE OR MORE OF THE TICKETS YOU'RE TRYING TO POST IS NOT ALLOWED TO BE POSTED. PLEASE TRY AGAIN WITHOUT THIS TICKET(S).

You can do this. A friend couldn't make the Sunderland game due to work and so forwarded the ticket to myself to give to another friend who had come to Burnley for the weekend.

As long as the person you're forwarding the ticket to has a Clarets Number and is a member of your Friends & Family network you shouldn't have a problem.

You can get a Season card if you request one from the ticket office.

"As your seat is located in the CFS (Barnfield Construction Stand), your access will remain digital by default. However, should you wish to obtain a physical season card, you are welcome to request one directly from the Ticket Office."

Will I have to use a Digital ticket?

League rules will require clubs to ensure that Season Tickets and all Home and Away Match Tickets by default are made available as digital tickets. Clubs will retain some discretion to make some tickets available in other formats to supporters who have reasonable grounds to request them. This may include supporters who have a disability that makes the purchase or use of digital tickets challenging. Other examples include some group bookings, such as school or Club Community partners.

Clubs will consult with supporters’ representatives to develop suitable policies and exemptions.

If its working for most people, I'd suggest those having problems, dont know how the system works, or have it set up wrong, others are trying to forward tickets to people not entitled to them, but blame the system

The one thing they won't do, is when they realise its not a system fault, come back on here and apologise

Not quite sure what you are suggesting there. I am someone who has had problems with passing a ticket onto someone else in my F&F group and I can assure you that I know how (bad) the system works. The process just did not work for me, and I had it confirmed by the ticket office (via telephone) that I was unable to transfer them because I was in the CFS.

Do you have a clear concise instruction guide for doing ticket transfers? by all means share with us all

I've followed the ones one the website, and some posts on here
I've done the following without a problem
Bought away tickets, when other say there's problems
Transfered my season ticket to someone else more than once
Posted on the ticket exchange more than once
Sold on the ticket exchange, more than once
Had more than one ticket in my wallet for away games
Used both card and digital tickets for entry
Been with someone, who has used somebody else's ticket in the cfs on numerous occasions.

I also attend the games with 20+ others, who have all done the above without issue, so why would I think anything other than the system is set up ok?

Hence calling the ticket office whereby they confirmed to me that "it is not possible to transfer tickets in the CFS". I spoke to 2 separate individuals on 2 separate occasions and they both told me this.

Now I am not suggesting that others who have managed this process are lying, and nor am I suggesting that you are wrong. I am reporting what I experience with the process, and I cannot transfer my ticket to anyone in my network, not one of them and nor can I transfer my sons U18 ticket for the upgrade process. So I can only conclude that the either the system is broken, or there is something wrong with my ticket(s) online - perhaps a flag against me because I'm clearly a hooligan or something... (I'm clearly not, but it makes me wonder!).

I must admit I took umbrage at your tone suggesting that I am at fault, when I can assure you that I really don't think that I am and if I am, I would happily come on here and apologise and also educate others on my findings without being condescending.

There is clearly something wrong, and as I have been told by the ticket office that I cannot transfer my ticket "because it is in the CFS" I have to take that as read don't I?

The system seems to work for the majority, otherwise they'd be 1000s of complaints.

I know somebody who is attending on Saturday with someone else's ticket in the cfs, something they have done many times ( its a shared ticket) I'll let you know if they have a problem

I'm in the CF stand and wanting to forward my ticket to someone as im off on holiday in the morning. I've accessed the ticket via the app and it says "your QR code will be available soon" when is soon, am I doing something wrong, or are the club just making it difficult for me to utilise use of the seat ive paid for?
