Thats just how football is now, sadly

You're being asked, as a fan, to stump up money to get access to tickets which are still full price when you want one

Doesn't matter whether its international, or club level, its an extra cost to supporting your team which most of us won't agree with but will be here to stay now

Fifa are just following the trend and there are plenty of fans happy to stump up the money

As if they needed to make a trip to the US any less appealing

Anybody going there next summer is going to get fleeced at every turn. Flights and hotels, dynamic ticket pricing, internal flights due to hardly any public transport. Keep hearing food and drink is really expensive over there as well, and on top of that you're expected to tip for everything!

If you can get in. Many will be turned back at border control.

You see the bueaty of being an Irish fan is that we are not going to qualify, so no need to worry about the good old US of A .

There were some great memories in 1994 though, Tribesman.

Beating Italy was a major achievement especially as they went on to reach the final.

That's the problem really we only look at the past.
Still some day out in New Jersey , I remember getting back to the campground where we were staying and just flopped inside my tent, I slept for about 10 hours .
