I’m amazed they haven’t put it up to £29.99 since our last visit. At least it’s better for younger fans than Manchester United was but the whole package of concession prices has become a big issue.

Looks like a common sense approach finally

Think we’ve only taken the lower tier in the last couple of visits but maybe wrong. It’s slightly different at Villa as I don’t think they make the additional unsold allocation available for home fans but again that’s more of a hunch than a fact.

I think you’re right on that burnmark. I’ve been there in the lower tier when the upper has been empty so that was either the last time or more likely the 1-1 draw when Barnes scored the pen.

EDIT: It was the 1-1 draw, last away game of 2021/22.

Any other ST holder with over 2000 points logged on this morning to buy Villa tickets met with the “this event is not yet available to you” message?

Anyone having trouble buying tickets? I have over 2000 points but it’s saying the event isn’t available to me yet.

Not only do I get the same message accessing the app, they have even sent an email with links to buy tickets which does the same.

I was the same but it’s now working.

No seating plan other than block and whilst it showed initially when i choose a block now no tickets are offered. Surely not sold them all in those 2 blocks already?

Can't choose own seats & being offered row U.

Now its offering me tickets but wont let me choose other than an 18-21 ticket..and only one..and when i select it then there is no option to put it in my basket. Bit of a mess today.

Strange. I’m not going but have just done a dummy booking for three adult tickets and got all the way through to the payment page. Just like others however, it definitely wasn’t letting me on the system at 10.10 though.

Got there eventually but on my mobile. Always find it easier on my laptop..but not today.

I wanted block 3 but when I finally got in it was just blocks 1 and 2 available. A friend of mine called in the ticket office for his and got a choice of seats in block 3. He said there were people in there complaining they weren't available online.

I've finished up with row U which must be right at the back and thankfully in block 2 and not 1.

It was around 10:15 when they became available online, sometime after I received an email telling me they were available.

Lower Tier - Block 1 nearly sold out, Block 2 sold out, Block 3 seats still available. The Upper Tier will only go on sale if we sell out the Lower Tier.

I expected this one to sell out quick

Difficult to tell with no seating plan but block Q1 just has single seats left , Q2 is sold out and no idea about Q3. So no idea if we'll sell in the Top Tier

As you say, they never seem to sell it to home fans when the away club don't take it. So maybe we've taken it on the basis that we won't have to pay for all the tickets, even if we don't sell 50% of them?

Tickets were unavailable earlier but they're now back on sale.

1st October being sent, which is today, it's on the article linked at the top of the thread.
