QR code ticket for Liverpool game

I’ve a friend who is willing to sell me the extra ticket I need for this game and he’s sent me a screenshot of the ticket including the QR code. Is it right that this won’t work though ? And is there any way around this that enables me to buy a ticket directly from another supporter ? Thanks

Had the same problem myself.
I have just been down to upgrade an over 65 screenshot to an adult. Which has now been put into my apple wallet.
I asked about the other ticket , a screenshot she said it be fine and i should have no problems.

Ive never had an issue with a screenshot QR code before (used loads), although Ive not tried the season ticket

It’s an individual ticket rather than a digital Season ticket. I can’t see why the QR code won’t work but the ticket office told my mate that it wouldn’t .
