Amorim

Last February was in Portugal and a friendly hotel manager from Porto told me Amorim wouldn't last at United and would move on to Benfica, his spiritual home since boyhood. Looks like it could happen soon?
He also gave his opinion on Marcus Edwards; good player and plays well for a few games then fades, appearing to lose interest - hope he's wrong on that one.

Presidential elections are imminent at Benfica and Amorim is being hevily linked with a return to, as you say, his boyhood club. It would give United the perfect get-out if they want one and it does seem that there is a real possibility of this happening if the election result goes the way it is believed to.

They should go for me. I’d continue the downward spiral they are trapped in.

Currently in Portugal talking to the locals in Olhos D’Agua who are saying Benficas FC elections are in October and that they could decide to not back the new manager in 6 weeks time?
In Alan Pace we trust.

Yes, seen reports that the current President wants Jose but the challenger in the election if he wins wants Amorin and was at the Manchester Derby on Sunday.
