Sunderland down to 10 men against Villa. Villa look awful though so I doubt it will be an advantage

. Still 0-0.
Bournemouth still 0-0 against Newcastle.

Got the Bournemouth - Newcastle game on. Not the best.

You aren't missing much with the other match either. I might watch the Bristol City game at 3. They are usually good for a few goals, unless I put the kiss of death on them.

Villa have really struggled so far this season and they still look poor against ten men.

I'm just waiting for the Arsenal - City game really.

I can't see villa remaining so poor for too long so I think I'm hoping for a villa win. But they've been absolutely dire in the final third

Rob Jones waves away Newcastle penalty claims for shirt pulling. I’d have given it.

Rob Jones would have given that if it’d have been against us too

Sunderland are going for it with their 10 men and have hit the bar.

I’d love to know the difference when the exact same thing happens to Man U in the last minute. Exactly the same as ours at OT.

Looked to me like a dive. A slight shirt pull and somehow his legs moved from under him and he dropped like he'd been shot.

If you’d switched on the Sunderland game just for the second half knowing there had been a red but don’t know for who, you’d think it was Villa with 10

They certainly are, they seem to have a good team spirit which will stand them in good stead. Like the aggression from corners, something which I would like to see from us.

Just watching Rob Jones ref the Bournemouth v Newcastle. It amazes me how little he actually runs. He spends most of his time walking and plodding around.

Happy with the Villa game remaining at 0-0. Sunderland have played Palace, Brentford, Us, Villa and West Ham. They'll surely start to fall down the table soon.

Nothing less than Sunderland deserve given that atrocious foul from Hume moments before. Awful challenge. Worse than many reds

I thought that but he didn't even give a free kick. Commentator said he got his studs on the ball!

Am I alone in saying it’s harsh to blame that on the goalie? It was a wild strike.

Did he even get booked?? Some awful refereeing in this game. Mings got absolutely clattered a while back. Gave Sunderland a throw in. Konsa won a fair header yards in front of the ref. Gave Sunderland a free kick. Absolutely useless

I bet Chris Sutton is a right laugh on a night out. He has spent all game pointing out how bad everyone and everything is. Maybe do something else if you dislike football this much Chris?

Clear yellow for Thiaw but Jones says no, probably because he’s already had a yellow. The Bournemouth fans suggesting that he doesn’t know what he’s doing.
Newcastle have now hooked Thiaw.

That would all depend if their management team is the same by the time we play them

Villa look an absolute shell of a team compared with the side that rocked up to the Turf two seasons ago.

We are better than Sunderland our new players are streets ahead. It not about quantity at this level but quality. Villa have several all fading at the same time. The quality and pace is not there anymore.

Did you spot Harland standing in front of the Reya to stop him kicking it out, Im sure Reya was bundled to the floor, ref says play on, I guarantee had that been us say Foster he’d have been booked.

That is absolutely embarrassing from Trossard and Silva, together with Gabriel being able to hound the ref (even as captain). I hate this game so much sometimes.
