I wouldn't want to see Florentino or Laurent anywhere near the starting 11 for this game personally

I'd play JBL, Tresor and Tuanzebe if fit enough. Cardiff's first team lost 1-3 to Bradford, we really shouldn't have anything to fear from them

Flemming, Broja and Edwards desperately need some action. Tresor possibly start on the left?

Tresor has to start games like this. Otherwise what is the point? We clearly need options off the bench in the prem, and even if we can get 45 mins out of him, it's a start. Parker clearly see's something otherwise he wouldn't be in the 25.

Having got a ticket I shall be extremely disappointed if Tresor does not start. He has cost a fortune for almost fa. I want to see him play. We have 5 subs ffs.

Like to see Banel get a good chunk of game time here, looked impressive in the Derby game, but we sure can put a great 2nd 11 out here.

With Tresor not even making the bench yesterday, I wonder if he's taken another knock.

I get that it’s more about giving certain players minutes but playing two up front v Derby didn’t really work.

Played two up front for quite a large part of last season and it worked okay. Parker likes the 4-4-2/4-2-4 against weaker opponents. Flemming & Broja were only on the periphery of match fitness v Derby, so that might explain it.

None of our starting eleven v Forest should start v Cardiff. I am confident our Manager can select a winning team without risking injury to any of our starters v Forest

That’s not how I saw it. Derby outnumbered us in midfield and controlled the game because Wood that.

Are you suggesting Brownhill played as a forward last season? I’ll admit he was advanced but I wouldn’t agree he was playing as a forward (no matter what your heat maps say).

Also very different to the Derby game where both Flemming and Broja were clearly playing as centre forwards.

We’re both unfit? Yes, they were miles off it and this could’ve been a reason why we were outplayed for a lot of the game.

Why?
Surely one of the priorities is to give Broja as many minutes as possible to get him match fit?

Not sure if I've missed it anywhere, but what's up with Connor? Is he training?

Max
Sonne
Worrall
Humphreys
Pires

Big Les
Edwards
Hannibal
Banel/JBL
Flemming Broja

Something like the above would be an incredibly strong side on paper , though the sheer unpredictability mass changes bring is never good . Against Cardiff should be ok though and good minutes into Broja ,Humph, JBL and Edwards can only be a good thing .

No need for 2 holding mids at home to Cardiff.

Paraphrasing Mike Bassett ‘Burnley should play 4 - 4 f*cking 2’.

Will be good to see a few players get a game. I hope we can still put in a decent performance though.

Looks an unbalanced side to me. Too many full stops. Weiss lining up outside of his goal and Les and Hannibal not providing enough cover down the right side of midfield.

Certainly wouldn't risk Ugo in this game...he's a key player for our survival hopes.
