I’m not so sure what the protocol is for allowing a player back on after treatment but
He waved Walker back on and Walker immediately played the ball
Jones appeared initially to be bemused
Jones then clearly waved play on but then when Walker played the ball forward he blew and restarted with a dropped ball for City

An atrocious first 30-40 minutes but nowhere near as bad thereafter. CT has pointed out the outrageous incident regarding Walker. There was panic and fear in the referee as he peeped on that occasion. Sadly that's the psychological position most refereeing comes from these days, especially a game involving the "big 6" clubs.

Only from the telly but the booking Walker for Foden standing on his foot, while stretching and injuring him is as bad a decision you will see.

Predictably dreadful referee and all 3 of our bookings were extremely soft/harsh. He couldn’t wait to get his card out.

Hopefully Jones will be suspended or banned following his massive double error in today’s game.

Total panic re. the Walker incident - he was terrified that it might lead to a Burnley goal...
Another referee who delighted in punishing the 'smaller' club.

Arrogant, self centred C you next Tuesday. The yellow card for Walker was laughable as it was Foden who fouled him! As for the letting Walker back on the field incident that sums this guy up. The man struts about like a peacock wanting to be the centre of attention. Have I said I’m not very keen on him?

The three bookings were all “ in his head”
The Walker fiasco was amazingly bad.
If he’s in the top twenty refs in the country then it’s a bad do
Always talking to the City players and they were always allowed to take free kicks faster than us
A)11
B)7
C)15
D)12 acted like Corporal Jones at times

I’ve seen the Walker card again and it is Foden standing on him. And then I watched the fiasco again when he waved him back onto the pitch.

He trots around like he’s in a show jumping competition - and I’m not talking about the rider.

First time I saw him was the match at Elland Road, and he's done nothing since to change my original opinion. This is the model of official the Premier League has created, and it is not the type of official under which we will ever thrive.

I can cope with yellows given out but keeping his cards in his pocket, for the sustained pull on the shorts in the first half, suggests it's not a level playing field.
